PureNitro Birthday Special 3!

Hi all,

Another year has passed, another year for PN to gain experience, joy and lots of fun on the streets with fellow members, other clans and cordial people. This also means that according to the tradition, the “PN Birthday Special” will take place. Those of you who already experienced this can assure you that this occasion is all about having fun with each other as members of the Belgian TMclancommunity.

For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, here is some further important info:

The PureNitro Birthday Special 3 will take place on the PureNitro Forever server in Belgium. This server is online 24/7 but will be closed for one day to celebrate PN’s birthday with a lot of other Belgian clans. This event will happen at the 14th of November at 4o’clock.

This special is a FUNWAR and that’s the main aspect of it, having fun driving with eachother. Of course a war means a bit of competition for each other and driving the best you can.

We try to aim this funwar to be about 1 hour of driving. Could be a little more or a little less. But this should assure us and you to be there and to experience the whole funwar.

The goal in this funwar is to drive the best times on tracks chosen by the clans and carefully reselected by PN when necessary, in order not to have to many (when a lot of clans participate) and to assure fun for everybody. The point system will be individually and clan based, but note that this is not the main aspect of the special, but it’s cool to have it so if you really want to give it all and aim for good times, you know where your place is in the Belgian TMcommunity.

The point system will be as followed: 20 points for the first player, 18 points for the second, 16 for the third, …, 2 points for the tenth, 1 point for every player that ends and 0 points for the players who don’t end.

Following information MUST be posted on the purenitroforum (http://www.purenitro.be) in order to participate:

- Each participating clan can choose two tracks which have to mark with a 1) (first choice) and 2) (second choice).

- Each participating clan should also give the names/number of the players who will be able to participate, this is just so we can make an estimation of how many people that are going to be there.

*Note: If a lot of clans participate then PN will select some of your tracks to make sure we don’t have to drive like 20 maps… Make sure the maps you select are a bit fun, cause that’s what it’s all about

PS: if you happen to read this as a clanless person, there will be a limited amount of free “tickets” for this event for clanless drivers. If you want to participate without being in a clan, post your name on the PNforum (http://www.purenitro.be/forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=4451). You are not able to pick tracks though.

Some additional info:

The trackchoice (and players that will be there) should be posted soon enough, so that means 8 November at last. That allows players who want to practice the tracks a bit, to do so
Forgot to mention it in the general information, but the mode is Time Attack (6 min/track). It has always been like that and it will give those players who didn't have the chance to practice the time to learn the tracks and to get good times too.

Every clan has chosen 2 tracks. Every first choice has been put into the mappack. Since 8 clans have posted their tracks, that ment I had to search for 2 more tracks. To find a perfect balance between tech and speed, Arlongpark and Lost in speed have been put into the mappack.
The mappack includes 4 Fulllength techtracks, 4 Fullspeedtracks and 2 Minis (tech), you can download them as a zipfile Have fun!

The PureNitroserver is adapted so it can be used for trainingpurposes by all participating clans. The password will be sent to a member of each clan who can put it in the privatesection of the clanforum. Plz keep this password for yourself, don't say it to anybody else then your teammates!

In your case I sent the password to krabby, cause he is the only one who reacted here, so krabby plz post that one in the private section of this forum
